Product development begins with a digital simulation (finite element analysis) based on a 3D CAD representation of the product. Design adheres to all of the risk management requirements imposed by the ISO 9001 and IRIS standards. The standard tests (qualification tests) are conducted with EN 17025 -accredited laboratories. The plans (drawings), processes, and technical specifications enable the manufacture of the first parts. A rigorous first article inspection (FAI) is then carried out to approve the geometry (3D testing, NDT, etc.), materials (mechanical, metallurgical and non-destructive tests) and joining (shift tests...).

Product design incorporates a RAMS* analysis that leads to a determination of the product life cycle cost (LCC) and adds to feedback.
